On July 4th I went over to Hoboken to shoot pictures of the Macy's July 4th fireworks. I can tell you that I really stunk taking pictures of fireworks but after doing some research on how to shoot fireworks and then explaining to Debbie what I read she put it all in perspective for me. To tell you the truth all the settings confuse me just like it does the average user. Learning about camera settings is boring and not many people do it for that reason.
Looking at your pictures after you upload them to Google+ and checking out the details you can learn from your mistakes. You can also go around and see what settings other people used when taking fireworks pictures and learn from them.
